In the wake of The Bloodline’s recent upheaval, a long-time friend of The Tribal Chief has addressed rumors of his potential alliance with the group. This individual, known for his comedic character, has not been in the ring since a torn quad injury during the November 1, 2022, episode of NXT. Last week, he expressed his disapproval of family members fighting each other, which led to fans jokingly suggesting he should become the next “Honorary Uce” of The Bloodline.

The person in question is none other than R-Truth. He responded to these suggestions with a cryptic thinking emoji on social media, further fueling the speculation. R-Truth has had a history of sharing the ring with several top stars, including Brock Lesnar and John Cena. Notably, on May 28, 2019, he teamed up with Reigns to defeat Drew McIntyre and Elias on SmackDown.

R-Truth and Reigns also shared an off-air moment following the January 21, 2016, episode of SmackDown. After the show ended, Reigns called the rest of the WWE locker room down to the ring to celebrate R-Truth’s birthday.

In a 2019 interview with Sports Illustrated, Reigns spoke about his close bond with R-Truth, revealing that R-Truth provided him with advice when he started out as a singles competitor. He said, “Ronnie is my best friend. He’s right there with The Usos, he’s like blood to me. We first started riding together six years ago. He used to always tell me, ‘Be that babyface, baby. Always be kind to people.’ We’ve been tight for a long time, and he’s one of the greatest of all time.”

The Bloodline’s storyline is set to continue in the coming weeks. On July 1, Reigns and Solo Sikoa will face The Usos in a Bloodline Civil War tag team match at Money in the Bank. The question remains: Will R-Truth join The Bloodline? Only time will tell.
