GTA Online welcomes Year of the Snake with special rewards and races

Rockstar Games has launched a special Lunar New Year celebration in Grand Theft Auto Online, bringing festive content to Los Santos from January 23 to February 12. The Year of the Snake event features new stunt races decorated with paper lanterns and fireworks, where up to 16 players can compete for exclusive rewards.

Players participating in the new racing events can earn a unique Lunar New Year livery for the Maibatsu Penumbra FF by entering any of the three special stunt races before February 12. The reward will be delivered within 72 hours of race completion. Those who complete at least two races during the first week will receive an additional GTA$100,000, while all participants can enjoy double GTA$ and RP rewards.

The celebration includes several exclusive cosmetic items available as login rewards. Players can collect the Black Snake Yogarishima Outfit, Red Serpent Leather Jacket, Snake Soul Pendant, Snake King Pendant, Red Snake Soul Cap, and Gray Snake King Cap. Rockstar has also hidden 36 golden Yunbao Collectibles throughout Los Santos, with each discovery rewarding players with GTA$ and RP. Finding all collectibles unlocks the prestigious Gold Snake Santo Capra Outfit.

GTA Online nightclub owners gain special benefits during festivities

Nightclub operations receive significant boosts during the event period. Owners can expect double daily income from their establishments and increased rewards for Nightclub Goods Missions, offering double GTA$, RP, and Goods. Players looking to expand their nightlife empire can take advantage of 30 percent discounts on all nightclub properties, upgrades, and modifications.
