Dataminers Uncover TMNT Content in Latest Black Ops 6 Update

Recent data mining efforts have revealed evidence suggesting an upcoming Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (TMNT) collaboration in Call of Duty: Black Ops 6. The discovery, reported by prominent dataminers Realityuk_ and HeyImAlaix and subsequently shared by Charlie Intel on January 28, indicates plans for both an exclusive event and a specialized game mode.

According to HeyImAlaix’s findings, the collaboration appears to be more extensive than typical cosmetic additions. The datamined content suggests a dedicated game mode that may incorporate special abilities similar to another upcoming event featuring characters from The Boys. This could potentially allow players to utilize powers and abilities specific to the iconic turtle characters.

The potential collaboration would mark the first appearance of the turtle characters in a Call of Duty title, though the franchise previously featured their nemesis, Shredder, in Modern Warfare 2 (2022). The TMNT property has maintained an active presence in the gaming sphere, with recent appearances in popular titles such as Fortnite, Smite, and Street Fighter 6.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 has established a pattern of introducing diverse content through its seasonal Battle Passes and in-game shop, including Operator Skins, Emblems, Weapon Blueprints, and various cosmetic items. The game’s previous crossover events, such as the Squid Game collaboration, have typically adapted character designs to work within the game’s existing operator system.

While the evidence from the data mining appears substantial, the collaboration remains unconfirmed by official sources. Activision has not yet made any public statements regarding the potential TMNT content in Black Ops 6.
