Diablo 4 Transforms Lunar New Year with Enhanced Gaming Event

Blizzard Entertainment is elevating its seasonal content with an enhanced Lunar Awakening event in Diablo 4, scheduled to run from February 4 to February 18, 2025. The celebration introduces the exclusive Trag’Oul’s Consort mount alongside an expanded progression system featuring ten levels of rewards.

Players across both Eternal and Seasonal realms can participate in the event by interacting with specially designed Lunar Shrines throughout Sanctuary. These shrines, adorned with snake motifs to honor the Chinese Year of the Snake, provide substantial benefits including a 100% experience bonus for two minutes and the ability to summon holy bomb effects.

The event’s progression system centers around earning Ancestral Favor Reputation through various activities. Players can accumulate this reputation by defeating monsters in dungeons or exploring the wilderness, with rewards available for exchange at the Lunar Night Market.

Expanded Rewards and Cosmetics

At the forefront of this year’s rewards is the Trag’Oul’s Consort mount, featuring distinctive red accessories and intricate golden patterns. Additional unlockable cosmetics include the Lunar Scepter, Dragon’s Courage, Moonshot Bow, Dragon’s Tapestry, and Moon’s Bounty.

The Tejal Shop will offer supplementary themed items for purchase, including the Scholar of the Lonely Moon outfit for Sorcerer class characters and the Dragon of the Lonely Moon mount armor. These additions complement the current Season of Witchcraft content, which introduced 25 new sorcery powers and various gameplay enhancements to Diablo 4’s seventh season.
