HoYoverse has unveiled the character banners for Genshin Impact Version 5.4, featuring the debut of Yumemizuki Mizuki alongside returning Fontaine characters Sigewinne, Furina, and Wriothesley. The new update positions Mizuki as its centerpiece while bringing back some of Fontaine’s most impactful characters, including the highly sought-after Support character Furina.
Mizuki enters the roster as a 5-Star character drawing comparisons to Sucrose, excelling in Taser team compositions while offering healing capabilities. This tapir yokai serves as a psychologist at the Aisa Bathhouse, using her abilities to help patients overcome their nightmares and trauma. Her background spans connections to both Natlan and Sumeru, reflecting her worldwide journey to master her craft.
The banner schedule reveals an unexpected pairing strategy. Mizuki’s debut banner will run alongside Sigewinne, while Wriothesley and Furina are set to share the second phase. This arrangement particularly benefits Wriothesley enthusiasts, though it may disappoint players hoping to pursue Mizuki’s signature weapon, as it will run concurrent with Sigewinne’s more specialized Silvershower Heartstrings.
