Marvel Rivals Gallery Hints at Mysterious Character Design Changes

A recently discovered Gallery Card in Marvel Rivals has sparked excitement among fans, potentially showcasing new alternative designs for three beloved characters. The artwork, unlockable through Chapter 4 of the Midnight Features quests, displays unique interpretations of Black Panther, Winter Soldier, and Psylocke.

The striking artwork reveals Black Panther donning metallic armor with distinctive purple accents around the shoulders and hands. In a departure from his traditional appearance, the Wakandan hero sports exposed fangs and pointed ears instead of his iconic mask, suggesting a possible connection to Dracula’s forces in their struggle for New York City’s control.

Winter Soldier appears with an unexpected makeover, featuring white hair and a golden prosthetic arm – a dramatic shift from his usual aesthetic. The image shows him in combat alongside Wolverine and Adam Warlock. Meanwhile, Psylocke is depicted in an eye-catching red and black ensemble, with her signature dark hair styled in pigtails as she leaps across the battlefield.

These designs emerge as Marvel Rivals continues its first season, “Eternal Night Falls,” which is gradually introducing all members of The Fantastic Four over a three-month period. The game has maintained a steady content release schedule, with new character additions planned every six weeks and fresh cosmetics launching each Friday.

NetEase Games has been actively expanding the game’s cosmetic offerings, including Chinese-themed Lunar New Year skins for characters like Moon Knight, Squirrel Girl, Doctor Strange, and Mantis. The developer has also announced an upcoming collaboration with Marvel’s Spider-Man 2, featuring the Advanced Suit 2.0 for Spider-Man, scheduled to arrive in the shop on January 30 to coincide with the PC release of Marvel’s Spider-Man 2.
