New Black Ops 6 Zombies map prepares cryptic reveal from Treyarch

Treyarch is gearing up to unveil their latest addition to Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 Zombies with The Tomb, the fourth map in the series. The developer plans to showcase the first gameplay footage through an official trailer on January 24, just days before the map’s release alongside Season 2.

The game’s Zombies mode has already earned praise for its return to traditional round-based gameplay, offering three distinct maps: Terminus Island and Liberty Falls at launch, followed by Citadelle des Morts during Season 1. The announcement of a fourth map arriving with Season 2 on January 28 caught many players by surprise, given the typically longer gaps between map releases.

Treyarch has released several screenshots highlighting The Tomb’s environment, revealing that players will have nine unique areas to explore. While keeping most details under wraps, the developer has hinted at references to classic Zombies maps and confirmed the return of a fan-favorite submachine gun.

The screenshots from the Black Ops 6 Season 2 reveal offer glimpses of The Tomb’s key locations, though most of its features remain shrouded in mystery. This approach aligns with Treyarch’s intention to let players uncover the map’s secrets through firsthand experience when it launches.
