Team Jade has made the decision to postpone the release of the Black Hawk Down campaign in their tactical shooter Delta Force. The campaign will now launch alongside Season Starfall, as the development team works to ensure the experience meets their quality standards.

This latest installment in the renowned tactical FPS series offers players various game modes including Warfare and Extraction, with the Black Hawk Down campaign being a particularly sensitive undertaking. The development team faces the complex challenge of accurately portraying historical events while maintaining respect for cultural sensitivities, drawing inspiration from both the original game and Ridley Scott’s film adaptation.

Season Starfall brings substantial content updates to Delta Force, beginning with a January 18 update that introduces “Hot Zone,” an intense 3v3v3 PvP mode. This fast-paced addition features two-minute rounds on compact maps, where teams compete to win three rounds while earning points for tactical gear advantages.

The upcoming season expands the game’s environment with two new areas: the Underground and the Broken Bridge, each offering unique exploration opportunities and narrative elements. Players can participate in special events like the Lunar New Year Event – Fall of Skynet, which features midnight rocket launches across all maps.

Beyond these additions, Season Starfall enhances the Delta Force experience with new weapons, movement mechanics, maps, and operators. The update also implements numerous balance adjustments and gameplay improvements throughout the game’s various systems.
