Maxis and Electronic Arts have launched comprehensive Legacy Collections for The Sims and The Sims 2 on Steam, marking a significant milestone in the franchise’s 25th anniversary celebration. These collections bring together the original games along with their extensive libraries of expansion packs, offering players complete access to the series’ foundational content.

The collections arrive as separate releases, with The Sims Legacy Collection priced at $19.99 and The Sims 2 Legacy Collection at $29.99. Each package includes the base game and its respective expansion packs, providing players with the complete experience of these classic titles.

Collection Contents and Pricing Details

The Sims Legacy Collection includes seven major expansion packs:

  • The Sims Livin’ Large
  • The Sims House Party
  • The Sims Hot Date
  • The Sims Vacation
  • The Sims Unleashed
  • The Sims Superstar

The Sims 2 Legacy Collection offers an even more extensive package with seventeen additions:
