TMNT: Splintered Fate Expands Roster with Casey Jones DLC
Popular vigilante joins the roguelike adventure as first ranged fighter in upcoming February update.
Super Mega Evil Corp has announced a significant expansion for Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Splintered Fate, introducing Casey Jones as a playable character. The new DLC, titled “Casey Jones and the Junkyard Jam,” will launch across all platforms on February 5, 2025, marking the first major content update for the roguelike adventure game.
The expansion introduces Casey Jones with a distinctive combat style, making him the first character in the game to utilize ranged attacks. Players will be able to launch hockey pucks at opponents, adding a new tactical dimension to the game’s combat system. Alongside the character addition, the DLC features a new combat arena called the Punk Yard Biome, where players will face off against Punk Frogs in fresh environmental challenges.
TMNT: Splintered Fate, which initially debuted on iOS and Mac in 2023, has steadily expanded its presence across gaming platforms. Following its successful launch, the game made its way to Nintendo Switch in July 2024 and later arrived on PC through Steam and the Epic Games Store in November. The base game, featuring a story co-written by TMNT comics writer Tom Waltz, follows the turtle brothers on their mission to rescue Master Splinter.

Super Mega Evil Corp has indicated that Casey Jones represents just the beginning of their post-release content strategy. The character previously appeared as a non-playable figure in the base game, and his transition to playable status suggests similar possibilities for other supporting characters from the TMNT universe who have made cameo appearances.
