Trigger joins Zenless Zone Zero roster as HoYoverse unveils new Stun agent

HoYoverse continues to expand the Zenless Zone Zero universe with the announcement of Trigger, a new limited banner character set to join the game’s roster in Update 1.6. This revelation comes shortly after the release of Update 1.5, maintaining the developer’s steady stream of content additions.

Trigger enters the game as a Stun-role character wielding electrical abilities. Her agent record animation showcases her signature weapon, a large rifle, suggesting a combat style that blends ranged attacks with close-quarters combat, similar to Harumasa’s versatile approach to battle.

The character joins an already impressive lineup for Update 1.6, which includes previously announced additions Pulchra and Silver Soldier Anby. While Pulchra is positioned as an A-Rank character, both Trigger and Silver Soldier Anby are expected to appear as S-Rank banner characters.

OBOL Squad emerges as central focus in upcoming content

Trigger’s introduction aligns with growing speculation about the OBOL Squad’s significance in the game’s narrative. This mysterious faction, previously represented solely by Permanent Banner character Soldier-11, might finally step into the spotlight with the upcoming update.

The arrival of Silver Soldier Anby has particularly intrigued the community, as leaked information connects her to the OBOL Squad.
