Undisputed Developer Reveals Comprehensive Online Play Overhaul

Steel City Interactive has unveiled its development roadmap for Undisputed, prioritizing significant improvements to the boxing game’s online experience. The studio’s CEO Ash Habib detailed these plans in a development update video released on January 31, addressing community concerns and outlining upcoming features.

Online play enhancement stands as the studio’s primary focus, with particular attention directed toward the AI-driven judge’s scorecards system. The development team is implementing a new multi-queue feature, allowing players to simultaneously search for matches across multiple weight divisions, streamlining the matchmaking process and reducing wait times.

The update also introduces aesthetic improvements, including the addition of signature robes for prominent fighters such as Tyson Fury, Muhammad Ali, and Canelo. While the next patch is currently in its final stages following Steam playtesting, the studio has not specified a release date.

Expanding Content and Features

Beyond core gameplay improvements, Steel City Interactive has outlined several forthcoming additions to enhance the overall player experience. These include an online character creator, expanded career mode customization options, and the ability for players to select which fighters appear in their career progression.

The studio’s commitment to expanding the game’s roster continues, following their recent paid DLC release featuring Jake Paul, Zhilei Zhang, and several other notable fighters. Additional free DLC content is planned, though specific details and release timing remain under wraps.
