Xbox Game Pass Lineup Expands with Surprising Triple Addition from Major Publishers

A new leak points to an exciting expansion of the Xbox Game Pass library, with three significant titles potentially joining the service in February 2025. According to insider eXtas1s, as reported by Insider Gaming, the upcoming additions could include Activision‘s Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Time, Blizzard’s Heroes of the Storm, and EA‘s Madden NFL 25.

These rumored additions would complement the already confirmed February releases of Avowed and Far Cry New Dawn. Crash Bandicoot 4, originally released in 2020, would mark another major Activision title joining Microsoft‘s service. Heroes of the Storm, the PC-exclusive battle arena title from 2015, and the latest installment in EA’s football franchise, Madden NFL 25, round out the potential newcomers.

Xbox Game Pass 2025 Roadmap Shows Strong Content Pipeline

The subscription service has lined up an impressive roster for 2025, featuring anticipated releases like Atomfall, Doom: The Dark Ages, South of Midnight, The Outer Worlds 2, and Clair Obscur: Expedition 33. The addition of Crash Bandicoot 4 appears particularly strategic, considering the remarkable success of its predecessor on the platform – the Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy saw an astounding 2,808% increase in players after joining Game Pass.

While specific release dates and tier availability remain unconfirmed, sources suggest these titles might be exclusive to PC Game Pass and Ultimate subscribers. Current Game Pass members can still look forward to January’s remaining day-one releases, including Eternal Strands, Sniper Elite: Resistance, and Citizen Sleeper 2: Starward Vector.

The service recently bolstered its library with nine new titles across Ultimate and Standard tiers. Gigantic: Rampage Edition and Starbound joined both tiers, while Standard subscribers gained access to Flock, Kunitsu-Gami: Path of the Goddess, Magical Delicacy, Tchia, and The Case of the Golden Idol.
