Our Story
Cinevicio was founded in 2020 by Brazilian brothers Ericki Chites and Patricki Chites. The idea grew out of a deep passion for movies, TV, and gaming, combined with a desire to create independent journalism with a unique perspective. It emerged at a time when much of the world was staying home during the COVID pandemic.
Over the years, Cinevicio has grown, evolved, and transformed. Today, the site publishes entirely in English for a global audience, although for historical reasons it still uses a .com.br domain.
The founders’ passion for pop culture — and for American culture as well — goes back many years. Cinevicio is the second project led by the brothers. Their first, House of Wrestling, is South America’s largest pro wrestling website, recognized by WWE, and has brought pro wrestling coverage to fans around the world since 2011.
