Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 Advances Player Progress Through XP Event
Treyarch Studios implements comprehensive XP boost system for Black Ops 6 players starting January 30.
Treyarch Studios has unveiled a strategic Double XP event for Call of Duty: Black Ops 6, scheduled to commence on January 30 at 10 AM PT / 1 PM ET. The initiative arrives just days after the launch of Season 2, offering players enhanced progression opportunities across multiple game aspects.
The event introduces three distinct XP boost categories: Double XP for player progression, Double Weapon XP for firearms advancement, and Double Gobblegum earn rates. According to the in-game event tab (spotted by CharlieIntel), Battle Pass progression rates will remain standard during this period.
This XP event aligns strategically with Season 2’s recent launch on January 28, providing players an accelerated path to experience new content. While the exact duration remains unconfirmed by Treyarch Studios, historical patterns suggest the event will span approximately four to five days.
Players can utilize these increased rates to efficiently level up Season 2’s newly introduced weapons, including the Feng 82 light machine gun, the classic PPSH-41 submachine gun, and the Cypher 091 assault rifle. These weapons are available through the Season 2 Battle Pass system, with each weapon positioned at different progression tiers.
