Don’t Nod’s Lost Records Faces Unexpected Schedule Change for Second Episode
The narrative adventure’s second part gets pushed back as developers focus on quality improvements.
Don’t Nod, the studio behind the renowned Life is Strange series, has revealed a schedule adjustment for its upcoming narrative adventure game Lost Records: Bloom and Rage. While the first part remains on track for its February 18 launch, the second installment will arrive later than initially planned.
Lost Records: Bloom and Rage promises to transport players back to the 1990s, following four high school girls on a music-centered journey through the fictional Michigan town of Velvet Cove. The game adopts a two-part release format, dubbed “Tapes,” reminiscent of Don’t Nod’s earlier episodic approach with Life is Strange.
According to a recent FAQ update, Tape 2’s release has shifted from its original March 18 date to April 15. The studio explained that this extension would allow them to address technical issues and refine the storytelling elements. To compensate for the longer wait, Don’t Nod has teased upcoming social media content to keep fans engaged during the gap between releases.

The revised timeline creates a two-month interval between the episodes, potentially offering players more time to digest the story’s first part during a particularly crowded spring 2025 release window. While specific details about the promised social media content remain under wraps, the studio suggests it will help bridge the extended waiting period.
Lost Records: Bloom and Rage’s first episode maintains its scheduled February 18 release across Xbox, PlayStation, and PC platforms.
